Julia, a 40 year old ex-dancer and her twelve year old daughter Malena, settle in the mountains of Cordoba, Argentina, trying to overcome the grief of their husband and father’s death. The days pass and Julia meets Gaspar, a young man who persuades her to perform in a tango competition in town. Julia, along with Gaspar and Malena, learn of a new type of family.
